| Job Description |
The Nave electronic warfare technician is an integral member in ensuring success in battle or maneuvering practice. This specialist is primarily responsible for operating equipment for detecting, analyzing and identifying emissions in electromagnetic spectrums. Duties also extend to jamming enemy electronic sensors.
Training
Nearly every Navy enlisted soldier undergoes eight weeks of basic training, which consists of basic skills needed for Navy activities. Advanced individual training is usually required for specialization. The length of time needed for advanced training varies depending on the area of specialization.
